Dr. Susan Senzaki is a dedicated nursing educator and pediatric specialist with extensive clinical and academic experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno, in 1999 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2017 through a consortium between Fresno State and San Jose State University.

Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Senzaki spent 15 years at Valley Children’s Hospital, where she gained comprehensive experience in pediatric care, including the Med-Surg, NICU, PICU, surgical, cardiac, and rehabilitation units. Since joining the faculty at California State University, Fresno, in 2009, she has taught pediatric clinicals and nursing theory, mentoring the next generation of nurses.
In addition to her teaching role, Dr. Senzaki currently practices at Dizon Pediatrics and Pediatric Urgent Care, where she continues to provide compassionate care to children and their families.
